It has been brought to my attention by several viewers of this blog,
that I have not included any prices on the paintings shown. My
intention from the beginning has been to try to upload some of my work
and try to inform others about my work. If there are any exhibitions
showing my paintings, I will try to list them.
If you would like to know the price of a painting, or ask me any questions, please email me from my website: www.wynnbreslin.com.
I will respond promptly to you by email. If you wish to purchase a
painting, I have a pay pal account, or other arrangements can me made
privately.

WELCOME SPRING!
Today is the first day of spring! The bluebirds are back! Saw two on my balcony early this a.m.
I have posted a video below, that is called "Wynn Breslin's Gifts of Spring", which I made for YouTube in 2011. The link is below... it has music on YouTube version, let me know how you like it.
The photos of paintings require extra space on this blog, so please remember to scroll all the way down to the bottom of the page. Then you will see all the other posts with selected paintings and info about the Open Studio Days event that I do once a year--May-June.

White Clay Creek, "The Wedge, Delaware" |
Here in "The Wedge", Delaware, the large forsythia bushes that I planted all around my home in l961 are just starting to come out in glorious yellow. The view from my studio is changing daily. The grass is getting greener and the dogwoods are starting to look like they will be blooming soon. I have painted this feeling of springtime into my watercolors and oils for years, both from inside my studio and out on he balcony that overlooks this beautiful view.
I am especially fond of spring, because I feel that I am experiencing a rejuvenation of spirit. I try to express this as I paint.
In March the bluebirds come back to the woods. The deer have twins feeding in the fields, and the little foxes will soon be playing in the field beyond my grass line. Life is good in the valley, where hikers are enjoying nature.

An assortment of Breslin oils, watecolors and acrylic paintings
Thursday, March 1, 2012
Last summer in Maine, I painted a new series of oils.
" Surf's Up!" Oil on panel. Size 10"x8"
I wanted to convey how excited I feel every time I visit the shores of Maine. Palette knife and brush were used in this painting. It was an overcast day, but the foam and spray were magnificent. If you would like to know where this was painted or more about the techniques used, please contact me on this blog.
All paintings displayed on this blog are available for sale. Please contact me at www.Wynn Breslin.com.
I will be posting more paintings very soon.
